The Few and Cursed is a creator-owned comic book series about people trying to survive a wicked world where most of the water was gone overnight in a mysterious apocalyptic event in 1840.
The Redhead is a hardened survivor that was born in this reality and now fights to protect the innocent. As the land fell into darkness a group of men and women decided to take a stand and fight back, they are known as Curse Chasers.

WE DID IT!
We have unlocked everything we had planned for Phase 1 and now it's onwards to bigger goals! We don't have much time, less than 36hrs, but I know we will make'em count!!!!
We unlocked another upgrade for the hardcover edition of the book - which is Kickstarter exclusive by the way!! Every now and then I get people asking about the books in hardcover format...
Well, you either get'em on our Kickstarter campaigns or you'll need some luck getting them afterwards as we only make available what's left after fulfillment.
NEW STRETCH GOALS ANNOUNCED!
Welcome to Phase 2, my friends! As promised we have a lot of good stuff planned and I cannot wait to see how far we are going to get.
Please do continue to spread the word about Hidden Away and upping those pledges. We had a number of backers upgrade their original tiers, thank you all so much!
If it was up to me I'd unlock it all and make this the best project and campaign over but everything has a cost and I need your help to make all of the above happen.
I mean, this idea sells for itself. Cowboys and dragons?! Come on, this is absolutely awesome! I was stoked when Caleb reached out to tell me about this project, not to mention the fact they funded on day 1!

This project looks great and it's THIS close to getting funded so why not head over there and check it out? It's a series that is still in the beginning, this campaign is to fund #2 but you can get the first one as well.

Alright, just in the nick of time we are going to reveal the art direction for Hidden Away!Â
And it's actually perfect timing because it gives you beautiful backers more than enough time to perhaps up those pledges and help us move on to our second tier of Stretch Goals!
The campaign ends on Thursday and we're less than $1.5K from our next Stretch Goal at $40K, the very last one before we get to announce a whole new batch of extras \o/
While these pages aren't final, this is still a work in progress preview, it gives you all a good idea of what to expect from the art of Hidden Away and I really hope you like these awesome first pages!
When I teamed up Stan with Fabi Marques I knew they were going to do magic together but these are definitely beyond any crazy expectations I had.
I love how these are turning out!
Trust me, I cannot wait to reveal what's next for us! These final hours are usually super exciting and nuts, there's no way of telling where could we go from here.
And there's plenty you can all do to help us hit $40K and announce the next batch of Stretch Goals. For instance:
- Refer this KS campaign to a friend
- Post about it on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, heck, you can even dance about it on TikTok
- You can always upgrade that pledgeÂ
- Last but not least you can always cheer us on by leaving words of encouragement in our comment sections, those help a lot too!
Whether from Digital to Print or from Regular softcover format to the Kickstarter Exclusive hardcover, from the book alone to a combo of books, every dollar counts!

Howdy folks!
After a sluggish mid-period we're back on track and continuing to unlock exciting extras! These past few days have been great with tons of new backers and I really couldn't appreciate all of you more.

I can't wait to reveal our second round of Stretch Goals, there are some truly awesome things planned and I'm sure we will be able to unlock so much yet.
For now here's the latest SG unlocked, an upgrade to our regular softcover edition of the book:

As far as production updates, Stan has just finished up a new batch of pages and Fabi is putting the finishing touches on the colors of the first sequence. If all goes well I will get to share some colored pages before our time runs out ;)

Before jumping on to new projects allow me to share the correct link to my good friend Pat's Kickstarter campaign Emerald Fantasies which was spotlighted in my previous Update:
What a gorgeous looking project not to mention it's an absolute success with over 800 backers and over $60K raised so far! They still have about five days left on the clock and can definitely go a lot further, I highly suggest you guys take a gander clicking the link above.

Alright, so this project has just FIVE HOURS left so jump on it as soon as you can. It's also fully funded and chasing after Stretch Goals. Monty seems like an incredible creator and I highly recommend it, the book looks beautiful!

Karl is a long-time friend and incredible comic book maker, I have the utmost respect for his work and glad to have collaborated with him in the past. Happy to recommend his latest graphic novel as well, it's another biggie already fully funded and chasing Stretch Goals.

Hey everyone!
We are going through the "dark valley" of the mid-campaign period, exactly halfway through, it's always the most challenging time in any Kickstarter campaign but it's nice to see we're still seeing pledges come in and Stretch Goals getting unlocked.
Our latest one is another personal favorite as I couldn't be prouder of the work done with Carol Costa. She really embodied the Redhead for a photoshoot and the shorts we produced so it's always exciting releasing new products with Carol as Red :D
That's card #5 of a planned 9-card series. For backers that are missing any previously released cards don't worry, when the BackerKit Survey roll out you'll be able to add them to your pledges.
I'd really appreciate it if you could all continue to support us whether upgrading your pledges or showing TFAC to a friend or family member, posting on social media, anything helps, it really does!
LIVE ON SKETCH UP! WITH MOG & MEL
I'm super excited to be featured guest of this week's SKETCH UP! With Mog & Mel, we've been talking about it for a couple of months looking to find the perfect time and this is it, it's finally happening \o/

What a fantastic looking project, the art is just absolutely gorgeous and of course their campaign is just soaring past the 1K backers mark! With still a lot of time left in the clock Nightmare in Wonderland is well over funded and hitting Stretch Goals left and right. Plus I know the creators and I cannot praise them enough, please go check it out if you can.

Haunted Tower: A Quick the Clockwork Knight Adventure
I met Thane last year at Emerald City Comic Con and he had just the most intriguing comic zine he was showing other creators around. I'm so happy to see him on Kickstarter with a project also fully funded! And this comic is no ordinary comic book...

Howdy folks!
I hope y'all doing just fine this Thursday, I know I am! We're finishing up our second week on Kickstarter with quite the bang, three more Stretch Goals unlocked and some fantastic extra content added to all packages across the board!
One of my all-time favorite Stretch Goals has been unlocked: the added pages to the book including Making Of materials and a Gallery of pin-ups by Guest Artists!Â
I love working with artists and the $30K stretch goal is the perfect opportunity (or should I say excuse!) to connect with new people and watch them take characters I helped create and make them their own. I couldn't be more excited!
Thank you all so much for pledging and continuing to support TFAC! Let's keep spreading the word, upgrading pledges leaving a comment, all that helps tremendously :D
STRETCH GOALS UNLOCKED!
Maybe it's time to upgrade from the Softcover format to the new hardcover format with UV Spot Treatment on the characters over matte background. Maybe?
Backers from past campaigns know I love to exercise the community spirit by highlighting projects from fellow creators for you to check it out. First up is a true personal favorite as I've backed this series in the past and the it just continues to amaze me.
Not only that but I personally know the crew behind it, they are all fantastic creators and just darn good people, I can't recommend this enough! They are THIS close to funding 100% with more than enough time to hit a few Stretch Goals as well :D

Always a treat to recommend a project that is both fully funded and a Project We Love here on Kickstarter! Having created and fulfilled over 40 campaigns, Joseph has a true gem in his hands with enough time to keep unlocking Stretch Goals left and right :D
