Howdy everyone!
Another month has zipped by so here I am with another Update.Â
I will start with the good news first (at least for some of you). The domestic part of fulfillment has been completed with every package going to US backers shipped. Laguna Studios did a terrific job of getting those out as quickly as possible and I believe most, if not all, backers have already received their stuff.
That's not to say there aren't any problemas regarding missing or damaged items but please hold on to those customer tickets once we complete fulfillment to international backers as well.
Which brings me to my next point...
I'm afraid I had to terminate my agreement with GamesQuest before they could handle this fulfillment. That was not by choice but unfortunately the way they treated me as a client, a paying customer, was not acceptable and forced me to end our relationship immediately.
I'm not going to go into details but I was disrespected and their Customer Relationship service was awful.
Couple that with the fact their services have been lacking for the past few campaigns with GamesQuest taking forever to pick, pack and ship, this latest episode was just the straw that broke the camel's back. I sincerely apologize to all international backers that ended up getting caught in the crossfire.
I've already taken steps to make sure Laguna Studios takes over fulfillment for international backers as well. We're now just waiting for GamesQuest to ship to the US all items needed for fulfillment.
I was told those are shipping by Friday so come next week I expect Laguna to start fulfilling all international orders.
There shouldn't be absolutely no reason for GamesQuest to take so much longer to fulfill orders than Laguna. The TFAC Music Kickstarter just shipped today to international backers almost two months AFTER Laguna had shipped domestic packages.
Not acceptable.
Again, I'm sorry this is taking yet longer for international backers but it will now happen sooner than later, I promise.
I know it's far from ideal sharing something new while some backers are still waiting for their rewards but Hidden Away will be long fulfilled entirely before our new launch so I figured I had some grace from you guys :)
THE FEW AND CURSED: THE GREAT DELUGE launches on Kickstarter October 13th, collecting issues #7-12 in a massive 232-page volume.
Weâve got four hardcover editions in the works, including three Kickstarter exclusives, plus plenty of other surprises... including new OverPower content ;)
If youâd like to be among the first to hear about whatâs coming, follow the pre-launch page here:
And donât worry, weâll have plenty more to share before October 13th. đ
That's it for today's Update, folks. I will be back in touch in about a month, maybe six weeks, with another Update specifically to handle customer tickets and replacements. If you need to reach out before then please shoot over a DM or send an email to [email protected]
Thank you all so much for being with me on this project. I appreciate it!
All the best,
Felipe
Hey everyone!
It's been a month since my last Update so it's time for another one. Both Laguna and GamesQuest have been busy around the clock fulfilling outstanding campaigns and handling stragglers and replacements.Â
We had hoped to have all US packages out the door by the end of July but Laguna needed a few extra days to finalize picking and packing everything. Orders have been processed though and I have confirmed with them today that:
GamesQuest is currently packing and shipping all orders related to The TFAC Music Experience and Hidden Away is next on their docket. I have confirmed they have received all products already and have finished sorting them as well.
Thanks so much for your very kind support with this campaign and as always if you need any support or would like to reach for whatever reason please send an email to [email protected] or leave a comment or DM.
The campaign to fund our next big product in The Few and Cursed universe ends next week on Thursday August 14th at 11:59pm est. The campaign is fully funded and we're chasing some awesome Stretch Goals.
It's been quite a challenging campaign since it's a premium product but I'm thrilled we're already funded and moving on to production with it.
You all have an amazing weekend!!!
Cheers,
Felipe
Howdy folks!
Great news, I just heard from Laguna Studios that all books have been delivered in the US. The cartons going to the UK for international backers are still en route to GamesQuest though.
Laguna is currently the TFAC Music campaign and Hidden Away is next so I believe we are still on track to keep the dates I shared last month with you all. I will have to adjust the dates for international packages though...
I apologize to backers outside the US, things have been much slower than usual with everything that's going on in the world now. I'm in contact with the vendor in China and looking into the delay with the cartons going to the UK.
I know it sucks having to wait even longer... so sorry about that.
If anybody needs to reach out for whatever reason please leave a comment on this Update, send in a DM or feel free to email me at [email protected]
Thanks so much,
Felipe
